In the Deep, I Found My Peace

In our darkest and most challenging moments, is often when we realize our strengths, and become the people we are truly meant to be.

I went through divorce during the pandemic and although it was what I wanted, it was one of the most difficult experiences of my life. A lot of the time, I felt like I was drowning, and even though I knew I would make it through, it was hard to see what that would look like when I got there, because it felt so far away. So I took my fate into my own hands, picked up a paintbrush, trusted my gut and signed up for a painting Masterclass I found online (Milan Art Institute) and began to nurture a part of myself that I had neglected for far too long. In my darkest time, I found my strength. I found my passion, and it brought me back to life, back to my true self, allowing me to live a life of abundance and joy, that at one point in time, I never even could have imagined for myself.
